Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last Updated: 14 September 2026

Developer Desk provides customized digital services, including website development, application development, software development, design, integrations, maintenance, and technical support.

Because these services may involve dedicated resources, development time, customized work, third-party services, and project-specific deliverables, payments are subject to the terms described below.

1. Project Cancellation

A project may be cancelled only in accordance with the applicable project agreement or written understanding between Developer Desk and the client.

Once development work has commenced, cancellation may not automatically entitle the client to a refund.

2. Advance Payments

Advance payments are generally used to reserve development resources and commence project work.

Once work has commenced, advance payments may be non-refundable, subject to the specific terms agreed for the project.

3. No Refund for Completed Work

Payments for completed work, delivered milestones, approved deliverables, consumed services, or completed development activities are generally non-refundable.

4. Change of Mind

A change of mind, change in business requirements, change of business strategy, or decision to discontinue a project does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Any unused or refundable amount, if applicable, will be determined according to the project agreement and the amount of work already completed.

5. Third-Party Costs

Payments made towards third-party services such as hosting, domains, licenses, premium plugins, APIs, software subscriptions, payment gateway services, or other external services may be non-refundable depending on the policies of the respective provider.

6. Technical Issues

If you experience a genuine technical issue with a service delivered by Developer Desk, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve valid technical issues covered by the agreed project scope or support terms.

7. Refund Exceptions

In exceptional circumstances, Developer Desk may review a refund request on a case-by-case basis.

Any approved refund will depend on the nature of the project, work completed, expenses incurred, third-party costs, and the terms agreed with the client.

A case-by-case review does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.

8. Delays Caused by the Client

Delays caused by missing content, delayed feedback, unavailable credentials, delayed approvals, scope changes, or other client dependencies do not automatically qualify for cancellation or refund.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage clients to contact Developer Desk directly before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated without first attempting to resolve the matter with us, Developer Desk reserves the right to suspend services, development, support, hosting, or access to applicable deliverables, subject to applicable law and contractual obligations.

10. How to Request a Cancellation

Cancellation requests should be submitted in writing using the contact details available on the Developer Desk website.

Please include your name, project details, invoice or payment reference where applicable, and the reason for your request.

11. Policy Changes

Developer Desk reserves the right to update this Cancellation & Refund Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be published on this page.
